Weekend Office
The weekend office provides a nurturing base for new concepts and approach for the forthcoming architectural projects. This weekend office was planned to act as a farmhouse for leisure family time.

The entire development is carried out with indigenous material and construction process. The stones and boulders used for the construction are quarried while digging the well. Traditional timber arches from the old “wadas” adorn the space between the courts and the enclosed area. A new ecosystem was developed on the site once barren. Now, the site is lush green with about 150 species of indigenous trees, medicinal plants and other shrubs.

Planning based on the solar passive principles and small openings, thick walls, pitched roof, verandahs, clay tiles, flooring, water pool and plants contribute to the internal thermal comfort during both the seasons.
